Rebekah favored Jacob and helped him to get Isaac's birthright blessing. This angered Esau very much, as he was the oldest of the twin brothers and by rights he should have recieved Isaac's birthright blessing. Esau then tried to kill Jacob, but Rebekah intervened and saved him. Rebekah was buried in the Cave of the Patriarchs, along with her husband, Isaac. Also buried there were her husband's parents, Abraham and Sarah, plus her son, Jacob and his wife, Leah.
