The sorceress of Zoom is the magic powers wielding leader of a magic city, which she can make appear at will. She has many loyal subjects, and most of them are cowardly.

She is supposed to be an evil villain. That she sure is. But, since she was the star of her own feature, she couldn`t do anything evil to anyone good (since she appeared in the forties). So, she wound up battling against other villains, who tried to do harm to others, instead of doing something villainous herself.
