Origin
The Easter Bunny is a mythic being that leaves eggs, often made of chocolate in modern times, around houses and countryside at Easter time. As with Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny is a mixing of the celebration of a religious holiday, the resurrection of Christ, with pagan traditions, the celebration of spring.
Current Events
An Australian version of the Easter Bunny is shown in the Dreamworks film : Rise of the Guardians, wherein he is shown to be able to drill holes in the ground and travel, and adept hand-to-hand combatant, and expert with boomerangs.
