Major Grubert is a man from Earth, who discovered the secret of immortality, and various super technologies. He ventured to space, and created an airtight garage. A three level planetoid.
He searches for his nemesis, Jerry Cornelius, so he can battle against him.
He has himself changed to a powerful cosmic being.
Then the Garage is about to be destroyed. Cornelius finds him and the two must team up to save it. Grubert is stripped of his immortality by an enemy, a Bakalite.
The two save the Garage, but unfortunately Cornelius loses his life. Grubert escapes back to Earth, where he lives as an ordinary looking man.
