Minerva is a tall, powerful, armored Amazonian warrior. She has the mystical ability to summon medieval Roman weaponry at will, to aid her in battle, by stating which item she wishes to use. Some of the items she has conjured in the past are: shield, bow and arrows, sword, and a staff.

Creation
Minerva was created as character in the twelve part mini-series titled Pantheon and was part of its premiere superhero team the Freedom Machine. She was created by Bill Willingham and Mike Leeke and was introduced in Pantheon's first printed by Lone Star Press in 2007.
