Piper was a teen mutant in the nuclear wasteland left a global war. She and her friends were turned into humans again by the heroic Prof. Kildare. She was a romantic girl and wanted to have a romantic relationship in the middle of the Ex-mutants (reboot version) 's adventures. Despite that, her male team members didn't notice her or were judged too ugly by her.
When the Genesis event happened, she arrived to Earth-1136 and joined the Protectors.
