Brief History
Bentley claimed that "every character ever written about really does exist ... in a different dimension". They were after him because he found out about their existence. He was seen running through the streets of a city, the crown failing to notice anyone following him. He asked for police protection and ended up in a cell, awaiting psychological evaluation. When the doctor did arrive Bentley had vanished into thin air. He was revealed to be a fictional character himself who had escaped into the "real" world. He was unable to escape his fate and was returned to the "dimension of storybook characters".
