Agent Ortiz and her partner Agent Henderson of the D.E.A. are out to put a stop to Condor a group of mercenaries who are trying their hand at the drug game, and selling EMC. Her job gets a lot more complicated when Frank Castle steps into the frame to also stop the group with his own form of justice.

Agent Ortiz and her partner were staking out a Warehouse in New York, with the intent to take down Condor, and when they see Face leave the building they make the determination to raid the place in the morning. But, when they get there with the police, the Punisher had already hit the place and killed everyone.
Over the next few day, Agent Ortiz and the DEA try to track down the Punisher and Condor, but they are always one step behind, and only find destruction. While in upstate Vermont, on the trail of Condor, Ortiz and Henderson find themselves in the middle of a fire fight, and Henderson gets captured by Face.
Over the next few days Ortiz follows the trail to the Exeter Asylum where she is forced to team-up with the Punisher to survive Condor onslaught of hired goons and doped up freaks. Ortiz does find Henderson but he had been tortured and over dosed with EMC and attacks her. Ortiz is forced to kill her former partner and barely makes it out of the Asylum before it blows up.

After the events of the Exeter Asylum, Ortiz is taken off the Condor and the Punisher cases, but she keeps investigating. This leads to her being kidnapped by EMC overdosed Face and tortured. Ortiz escapes and is able to get the upper hand on Face, when the side effects of EMC kick in.
She tricks him into taking him to the drop of the EMC and attempts to stop Condor on her own. This leads her to a standoff with the Punisher, but she lets him escape and takes the new leader of Condor, Olaf into custody.
