Origin

April Booth and her husband, Mark Booth were well known scientist who were curious of the power Jack of Hearts once possessed, but due to his death long time ago, they couldn't get any answers on how his powers worked along. They also were interested with the possibility of turning into Hulks.

Mark and April decided to work together to find a way to bring Jack of Hearts back using the same gamma energy that once powered Jack, however the process of bringing him back and trying to turn themselves into hulks resulted in mutating the married couple. While Jack of Hearts escaped.

April's head would grew while her body became smaller in comparison, turning into a "freak" according to her. While her husband became childish, with no knowledge of who he was once, outside of loving April. April was determined to find a cure for both of them, which would lead her to the idea of using She-Hulk. Seeing her as the "perfect hulk" and that her powers didn't take away from her mind when in hulk form unlike most hulks. That's what April wanted for herself

Major Story Arcs

After Mark blew their operation by randomly attacking Jack of Hearts in the park when going for a walk, leading to She-Hulk investigating the couple. Giving April the perfect time to capture her and Jack. April then tried to experiment on the two of them to give herself the power she wanted and the cure she needed. While it went great for her husband, curing his defects, it did the opposite to April, with her taking all of the radiation, causing her to become a permanent Hulk.

She'd later return looking for revenge, blaming She-Hulk for what happened to her, although Jen pointed out how it was her fault for messing up the science, and defeated April in a fight.
