It is unknown how they both met, but Ape Largo is probably Sydney's most loyal allied. He helped his friend when she was after the Three Treasure of Tao. They work for the Nightside Detective Agency which is in charge of the cases related to The Others, an evil organization lead by the vampire lord Benedict.
Creation
Ape Largo was created by Robert Weinberg and Tom Derenick in 2002 and first appeared in Nightside # 1.
