Appala is the  humanoid manifestation of the Sun.When a league of evil sorcerers named the Creators

wanted to transform the stars into humans, Appala and Dr. Strange joined forces to oppose them. On a later adventure she assisted Captain Mar-Vell. Due to a radioactive overdose, Mar-vell was draining her energies every time he used his powers. The pair rectified the situation before permanent damage could be done.

Creation

Appala was created in 1977 and first appeared in Doctor Strange # 22.

Powers & Abilities

Possesses all the powers of the Sun like generating heat, light Etc.
