Arkin the Weak was an Asgardian god and a cousin of Loki. He was long infatuated with Queen Knorda, leader of a hostile race of Mountain Giants. His love led him to betray various secrets of Asgard to her. One day, Arkin reported that Thor had fallen out of favour with Odin and exiled. Knorda led her forces in hunting down the young prince. Arkin did not care if Thor or even Asgard fell. He only wanted Knorda gor himself. Unfortunately him, the "exile" was a trick by Odin to manipulate Knorda. Arkin accidentally led his lover into a trap.
