Origin

As the niece of Barney Bushkin, Bailey has always been a reporter so it was only natural that she would start her own real life serial killer podcast called Red One with Bailey Bushkin. She then put out an ad for an investigator and when the famous Eddie Brock applied she hired him. She was unaware of Eddie's past, other then he worked for her uncle at the Daily Globe, and she was clearly unaware of his present condition of being the newest host of the Symbiote Carnage.

Creation

Bailey was created by Charles Soule and Jesus Saiz for their series Eddie Brock: Carnage. She appeared in the first issue as Eddie's contact and later it was revealed he worked for her and she was Barney Bushkin's niece.

She is shown having good reporter skills and integrity. When she is questioned by the FBI about her sources, Eddie, she protects him to the best of her ability.
