Dr. Boyd Wilson was a zoologist that studied the relationship between predator and prey. During an environmental survey he was transformed into Beastmaster, which granted him the ability to control animals. He also possessed superhuman strength. After an altercation with Wolverine and Beast with him ending up wounded, he lost his powers and regained his humanity.
Creation
Beastmaster was created by Chris Claremont and Paul Smith and First appeared in X-Men and Alpha Flight #1 in December 1985.
