He was the most skilled soldier under the Colonialist's command, showing great skill in his confrontation with Black Panther.
Physical abilities
the buffalo soldier belongs to a race very similar to humans on Earth, but has shown superior physical abilities to Black Panther. It has not yet been explained whether these abilities are natural to his people or are the result of artificial enhancement.
Strength: He showed enough strength to effortlessly throw the fully-equipped Black Panther with just one arm. He also held off Black Panther with just one arm.
speed: He was quick enough to outpace Black Panther in speed during an attack on him by Black Panther. He held his head and quickly holstered his weapon and stabbed him without giving him time to strike back.
Skills
Skilled fighter: he outclassed Black Panther during one-on-one combat and suggested that he didn't know how to fight. He was also shown taking on several of the colonizer's beasts single-handedly.
Marksmanship: He proved to be a great shot, able to aim and hit an object very quickly and accurately.
Riding: He showed great skill when riding his buffalo during a chase and then during combat against the settler's vacation.

Unknown material: the buffalo soldier's weapons are made of an unknown material capable of destroying vibranium. He has a pistol with bullets made of this material, as well as a knife.
