A certified nutcase, Chester Goudal saw most people around him as monsters to be destroyed. When Deke Wainscroft began draining victims of blood, Chester took up arms to kill this apparent vampire. His weapons included a crossbow, acid/ holy-water bombs and a shotgun full dimes, which he thoufht were silver.

After killing most of the Wainscroft's vitctims, whom Goudal believed to be monsters, he tracked a pregnant carol Nelson to the hospital. Nelson's baby hda been mutaed by Wainscroft's bite, and Goudal attempted to kill it. After battling the Punisher, an exhausted Foudal fell to his death in front  an oncoming subway train while fleeing his own imaginary monsters.
