Character Evolution
Chet Madden was featured as the director of A.I.M. starting with Captain America #28, but wasn't introduced as Chet Madden until Captain America #35 when he appeared as one of Connie Ferrari's clients, leading many resources to incorrectly identify his first appearance as being Captain America #35. His identity as director of A.I.M. was revealed in Captain America #39.
