Chevy worked as a handyman, for free, at the Massachutts Academy for Gifted Youngsters. Having disappeared from the series long before the Massachutts Academy was closed in Generation X #75, it can be assumed that at some point Chevy's services were no longer needed.
Chevy made his first appearance in the pages of Generation X in issue #16 and was seen meeting with his mysterious blackmailer in Generation X #20.
