Colonel Mack was a police officer in Scotland. He and his partner Inspector McCleod were entrusted with Cyber's case while the villain was active in Edinburgh. They also investigated Wolverine and Zoe Culloden for possible connections to Cyber's crimes. Cyber was eventually captured thanks to the combined efforts of Zoe, Kitty Pryde and Moira MacTaggert. He was delivered to police custody by Moira.

Mack and McLeod were working on mastering Moira's special equipment for keeping Cyber in place when attached by the Dark Riders. Lifeforce drained them to death.
