Not much is known about the man named Lindoro, save that he was a Zingaran nobleman from the court of Kordava.

He was typical of men in his political station, portly and perfumed. Uncustomed to fighting he was granted a cohort of Imperial Guardsmen from the king's house troops in Kordava.

An alliance between the kingdoms of Zingara and Argos was forged with the purpose of ridding the seas of the Barachan Isles pirates; to keep this treaty secret, and free from falling into the wrong hands, it was tattooed on Lindoro's belly.

Under threat of death if he failed in his mission, decreed by the king himself, Lindoro set sail secreted aboard a ship returning to Zingara when he was set upon by pirates under command of Captain Conan aboard the Wastrel.

A brief battle ensued in which the pirates overtook both the crew of Lindoro's ship, as well as his personal guardsmen. Upon discovering the treaty on his belly, Conan took him to Tortage as a prisoner to show other pirate captains what Zingara and Argos had planned for their kind.

His fate after having been delivered to Tortage is not known. It can only be presumed that if the pirates did not kill him, then the King of Zingara would have made good on his threat and had him executed upon his return.
