Cyrton appeared and died in: SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN #147 in the Kull story "Rites of Passage"

Cyrton was Commander of the Black Legion of Valusia during the time when Kull of Atlantis sat the Topaz Throne.

Cyrton was presumably present during the final war between Valusia and Commoria, and shortly after its conclusion the young general found himself manipulated by senator Baron Tulna, who presented the commander of the Black Legion before Kull and his court, and stated that Cyrton had claim to the throne by the precedent that the current monarch, Kull ruled by: "Rite of Passage".

The baron argued that at the time the previous monarch, Borna sat the throne, Kull was commander of the Black Legion, and upon achieving his commission challenged Borna for the crown of Valusia. The baron argued that Kull's reign was achieved only by the strength of his sword arm and not by royal blood, quoting Kull's oft used mantra, "By this axe I rule."

Kull realized only too late that Cyrton was being manipulated by Tulna, even as he had been many years ago when he challenged Borna in like fashion.

The two clashed on the throne room floor, and Kull slew the young upstart, severing first his sword-hand, and then his head, arguing that even though Cyrton was both a pawn and no longer a threat without his hand, "Crippled or not he could still cause dissent in the Black Legion".
