Mad scientist Drexel Cord created The Demolisher to defeat his arch enemy Tony Stark. Unfortunately for Cord, his creation turned against his own daughter.
Creation
The Demolisher was created by writer Archie Goodwin and artist Johnny Craig in 1968.
Major Story Arc
The Demolisher defeated Iron Man in their first encounter and brought him back to Cord's castle. However by the time they arrived, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jasper Sitwell had destroyed the central control panel that allowed Cord to operate his android. This led to a malfunction in The Demolishr's system and the robot attacked Janice Cord. Drexel Cord sacrificed himself to help Iron Man save his daughter.
