Dezmond Harris is an African American basketball player from New York who happened to lose his mutant abilities during Decimation when Scarlet Witch have depowered the majority of the entire mutant population. He started to love basketball by watching the Harlem Globetrotters. Though, when his powers have manifested, he becam discouraged. After his depowerment, he returned playing basketball regularly. He was then interviewed by Sally Floyd for her Ex-Mutant Diaries during the game where he confesses his experience as a former mutant.
