Donna was the daughter of Umar and Tiboro. They had decided to marry when other dark magicians were being targeted by General Strange to combine their strength. Donna was conceived to be their heir, manifested in an external, supernatural womb because Umar did not want to physically go through with pregnancy. When she was kidnapped by General Strange, her half sister, Clea, rescued her, deciding to raise her to spite her mother and named her after Doctor Strange's late sister, Donna.
Creation
Donna first appears in a magical womb in Doctor Strange (2023) #5 by Jed MacKay and Pasqual Ferry. She wouldn't be given a name until issue #10
