Brief History
Doris met Phil Sheldon in 1939 just before the war. Doris and Phil were among the first to witness the Human Torch/Jim Hammond in action.She waited at the 'home front' during the war while her boyfriend was reporting the war in America and overseas in Europe. After the war Doris and Phil married and had two children; Jenny and Beth.
Doris had a long and happy marriage with Phil and stayed with him until the end when Phil died of cancer.
