Origin
Under the assumed name, Deen Lorix, Eden was recruited to the Nova Corps during a low point in the organization. He was a ship-less scoundrel, and the Nova Corps was desperate for members. He was already a skilled soldier before going through the same training any Nova would go through. For a long time, his record was impressive, but Eden couldn't hide his side hustles forever. He was eventually found out and gave him a dishonorable discharge. They also initially refused to pursue him for his criminal work.

Major Story Arcs
Arakko
When news of a mutant planet in The Sol System made it to Eden, he remembered that he had a run in with a mutant named Emma Frost, who stole his spaceship and left him with almost no memory of their meeting. He flew into Arakko to confront her and take his spaceship back. Their meeting didn't go well though. He tried blasting her but didn't know she could turn into diamond too. Eden then got beat up by Kate Pryde, who was on planet with the Marauders, but ultimately, Emma paid him off with a large amount of mysterium.
Eden accepted the payoff, but he immediately betrayed the Marauders when he opened an airlock, ejecting them into space and taking his ship. Unfortunately, the Marauders combined their powers and managed to get Kate back on the ship. She fought Eden and removed his psychic blocker. Emma took over his mind and piloted the spaceship back to the stranded Marauders.
They dropped Eden off on Arakko with his mysterium payoff. They warned him they wouldn't be so charitable if he ever tried to take a run at them again.
