Elejea is a member of the Inhumans, an ancient race that diverged from human beings over 25,000 years ago. Like all Inhumans, when she came of age she was exposed to the Terrigen Mists, mutating her by unlocking her Inhuman DNA and abilities.
Creation
Elejea first appeared in "Inhumans" vol. 3 #5-6 (March - April, 1999). She was created by writer Paul Jenkins and artist Jae Lee.

Elejea was a member of the Inhumans' diplomatic delegation to the United Nations, and served under ambassador Mendicus.
Inhumanity
After the city of Attilan blew up over the Hudson River, Elejea has aided Medusa in keeping the Inhuman cocoons safe from A.I.M., often acting as the voice of reason.
Powers & Abilities
Elejea possess normal Inhuman physiology, which grants her slightly better strength, durability, agility, reflexes, speed and healing than human's best representative Captain America.
Her Inhuman ability received from terrigenesis is creating force-fields. These force-fields were even able to resist the powers of powerful Inhuman Lash for a time.
