Major Story Arcs
When Gideon deems the time right to take Sunspot under his wing, he orders his operative in the DaCosta family business to kill Emmanuel DaCosta. Eve is that operative and her methods are quick and effective: she poisons Mr. DaCosta's coffee and watches him die on the floor.
A few years later, when Cable comes to Gideon's lair, we discover that Eve and Adam, another of Gideon's personal assistants, have been killed, but have been "cyber-upgraded"; their consciousnesses have been programmed into the A.I. of robots.
