Major Story Arcs
Dark Reign

Executioner was recruited by Coat of Arms and a new Melter for their own version of Young Avengers. When their superhero activity got them on the news, the real Young Avengers decided to track them down. They wanted to discuss using the name, offering to let them keep it if they proved themselves worthy of it. Dan was paired with Kate Bishop. He was determined to prove he was an Avenger despite his gunplay and killer instinct. He then revealed to Kate that they used to go to school together, implying he would blackmail her over her secret identity to get on the team.
This was the last straw. The team turned him down for recruitment and even staged a meetup between Hawkeye and Kate Bishop (Vision disguised with a hologram) to prove to Daniel and his mom that they weren’t the same people. Kate even let it slip that Daniel’s mother was Princess Python, which he did not previously know. Dan was so committed to his crusade against crime that once he confirmed his mother was a supercriminal, he rigged her car to explode, seemingly killing her.
Afterwhich, his original team decided to stick together, much to the Young Avengers disappointment. This led to a confrontation where the Melter requested help from the Dark Avengers. Sick of being considered their juniors, Daniel announced them as the Young Avengers masters, not their students. As the chaos grew, Enchantress eventually teleported Daniel and the others to safety.
Vengeance
Daniel committed to the Young Master name and concept. He and Egghead put together a new team to show the old generations of villains how villainy is really done. To make a name for themselves, they tried targeting a number of big-time villains to take out.
First, they targeted Bullseye, but the rumors of his death were true. They then tracked down Doctor Octopus, who was already dealing with a team, The Teen Brigade. Next, they decided to target Latveria after hearing that Doctor Doom wasn’t there. They target his son Kristoff.
Ultimately, Executioner is knocked out and taken prisoner in Latveria.
Powers and Abilities
Executioner has no superhuman abilities but is skilled with conventional firearms and weapons. He carries an assortment of firearms, including two pistols and two rifles. He has access to an FBI database which he uses to research criminal targets as well as his family's accumulative wealth.
