Fifi is a duck-waitress that worked for Doctor Bong. She talked with a strong French accent. She met Howard the Duck when both he and his friend Beverly Switzler where captured by Doctor Bong.
Creation
Fifi was created by Steve Gerber and Gene Colan and first appeared in Howard the Duck issue 17 (1977).
Major Story Arcs
Meeting Howard
When Fifi met Howard, she fell an instant attraction towards him. At first, she was his caretaler while Howard was captured by Fifi's employer, Doctor Bong. Her love for Howard however soon led to her helping Howard escape. Together, they stole one of Doctor Bong's airships and they left Doctor Bong's lair. The pair flew to New York City but crashlanded on arrival, killing Fifi instantly. Howard has rememberd her on a few occasions, living with regrets of her death.
