Firebolt, along with his sister Rebecca, were abused by their father for being mutants. His father was a Christian preacher who accused the pair's powers of originating from the devil. In revenge, Firebolt slew his father and became a villain. He attacked Luke Cage in New York City, but lost control of his power and died from an explosion of his own making.
