History

Gerhart is a mutant who was murdered by Bushwacker, under contract by the marauders. He cared about his music so much that he was more concerned about saving his sheet music rather than his own life. Wolverine found the body and swore revenge. He later turned up in Krakoa, playing in Dazzler's band in the Green Lagoon. Presumably, he had been resurrected.
