During World War II, Ghost Girl was a member of the Crusaders. She was a Scottish girl who was given the ability to generate a holographic "ghost" double of herself , that could refract light so as to make herself appear to be a meter away from where she really was. She later abandoned the machine after the belt that powered it was destroyed and she learned of its Nazi origins.
