Gloria Gaylord Angel became Glamour Girl after she gained her powers when she was caught in a flood of ionic energy that Wonder Man had inadvertently released when his powers flared out of control. She was only one of eight individuals that gained powers in this manner. All eight of these individuals would join forces and become the team known as The Crazy 8.

Glamour Girl has the ability to travel through time. Unlike most who have this ability she is not able to teleport. As such she is able to leap through time, up to four decades, but she will re-emerge in the exact place she was standing when she left her original time.
