Gyre was created by Chris Claremont and Leinil Francis Yu in 1999 and first appeared in Fantsatic Four vol. 3 #18. Powers & Abilities
Gyre possessed the ability to propel herself at high velocities in any given direction, a feat made easier with her flight suit. She possessed dangerous sharp claws which were noted to contain an acid powerful enough to eat through Colossus's steel hide nearly instantly.
