Harry Gotham is a Los Angeles politician who speaks out against Ruth Cummins and others in the Church of the Dark Father, a local Satanic cult. Gotham whips the assembled crowd into a frenzy intent on eliminating the cult members. Satana happens upon the mob and has words with them, causing them to disperse.

Gotham later offers an assassin $20,000 to kill Ruth Cummins. They successfully kill Ruth but fall victim to Satana's succubi powers. Satana tracks Gotham down to his office and confronts him. His terrified pleas for mercy and offers of payment fall on deaf ears and Satana literally sucks the life out of him.
