Hilary Astrovik was the daughter of Vance Astrovik (Justice) and Angelica Jones (Firestar) from a dark future created by Animus. In this reality, Vance had become an abusive alcoholic like his father, and when he caught his teenage daughter kissing a boy, Vance began to slap her. Hilary used her telekinetic powers to throw her father through the wall of her bedroom (in the same manner that Vance had killed his own abusive father). She then manifested a Marvel Girl costume that was similar to Vance's original Marvel Boy costume. As Marvel Girl, she asked Angelica if she could kill her father. Angelica agreed, but Marvel Girl decided she didn't want to make the same mistakes as Vance. Instead, she left Vance weeping on the ground, begging to be punished for what he had done to his own father and Hilary.
