Hump is the brother of Brute. They fought alongside Masque to capture Sabretooth, for his involvement in the Morlock Massacre. When Hump, Brute and Masque tracked Feral to the X-Mansion they found Cable had her and when Brute threatened Cable he was murdered.
Years later, Hump resurfaced again as part of the Morlocks, when the team battled the Reavers on Madripoor. His brother Brute, was resurrected, and also rejoined the Morlocks.

Hump was created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld in 1991 and first appeared in New Mutants # 99.
