Creation
Inari debuts in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #36 by writer Cody Ziglar and artist Marco Renna, however her design was first made by comic artist Taurin Clarke.
Major Story Arcs
Thick As Thieves
Inari is first seen performing a heist at Velour Vicks a jewelry store in Brooklyn alongside her light-based fox companions Yako, Zenko and Tenko with the help of another young super thief White Cat. Inari has been on a stealing spree in Brookyln catching the attention of it's one and only Spider-Man Miles Morales who conducts a investigation with the assistance of Misty Knight which leads to the young arachnid catching Inari in the middle of another burglary while Miles is cloaked. Inari uses her ability to manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum to disable his invisibility to get a "better look" at him. Inari playfully compliments the spry Spider-Man's physique and prepares for combat with white cat to escape with the valuables she collected. The battle between Spider-Man and super thieves is evenly matched, Miles being impressed by Inari's agility and combat prowess. Although Miles was holding his own against Inari and White Cat, Inari's giant hard-light fox Tenko proved to be challenging landing a powerful blow on the Spider-Man catching him off guard that he is able to touch the fox and vice versa. As things look bleak Misty Knight comes in to assist miles with the adolescent bandits, Inari urged by white cat to retreat escapes with by having Tenko use a blinding light to temporarily stun the heroes and continue on her "shopping" spree.
Powers and Abilities
Light Powered Batons: Inari's primary weapons which she uses to channel a small amount of energy through creating simple weapons, such as Kama, nunchaku or kusarigama, they can also be used to travel short distances.
Hard-Light Kitsune: Inari has three kitsune companions made of her powers that act as pets and help her with combat, thievery and distractions. These foxes are highly agile and have multiple of Inari's light abilities such as being able to emit flashbang like flashes from there body.
Electromagnetic Spectrum: Inari seems to be able to manipulate anything on the electromagnetic spectrum as she disabled Miles's cloaking who has the same power.
