Jonas Cray was eleven years old when his sister was abducted from their room by a vampire. Years later, the undead sister returned to her home to claim her brother but Jonas was forced to kill her. Jonas Cray would become a vampire hunter in Manhattan in 1662. In present day, Blade would kill a vampire with strong, hateful emotions and suddenly appear back in time inhabiting Jonas Cray's body. Blade would learn more about himself and Cray's past that would renew his purpose as a vampire hunter. Blade returned to normal after he killed some vampires as Jonas Cray.

Creation

Jonas Cray was created by Simon Furman and Nick Napolitano in 1994 and first appeared in Midnight Sons Unlimited # 7.
