Johny first met Julie when he came to the apartment of her roommate, Frankie Ray (aka the new Nova). Although the two dated for some time, in the end the relationship didn't last and the two parted ways. Recently Julie was seen in the "Heralds" mini-series in witch a creature with a striking resemblance to Julie's old (and above all, dead) roommate Frankie was seen. Whether this really was Frankie remained to be seen, but likely it was just a coincidence.
