He appeared in the Daredevil Netflix series and first appeared in Season 1, Episode 1: Into the Ring. Nobu is said to have lived three lifetimes due to The Hand having discovered the secret of eternal life. In his and Daredevil's first encounter, he nearly beats him to death, but meets his presumable end after Daredevil outsmarts him, only to have Nobu return in Daredevil: Season 2. In Season 2, Nobu and The Hand wage war against Daredevil, Elektra, Stick, and the Chaste. The Hand's goal is to retrieve The Black Sky (Elektra) to have her as the leader of the Hand. In the end, Nobu kills Elektra, only to meet his end after getting decapitated at the hands of Stick.
