Kerbogha allowed a demon to place a curse on his twin children in exchange for the prosperity of his city, Polopponi. To spare his children their 'twin curse' he separated them, but was in fact deceived as the demon actually had blessed them. Many years later, after losing his son in war, he reconciled with his daughter.
