Origin

It is unclear how Klöpp became Ulik's beloved pet and how he got lost and fell through a portal into New York City, but he did and there he caused a lot of commotion and the attention of Thor.

The Asgardian God fought the giant spider in a construction site and was about to kill him when Spider-Boy showed up, in monster form, and stopped Thor's attack. Spider-Boy then talked to Klöpp in spider language, and learned that Klöpp was Ulik's pet and he was lost and just wanted to get back to his owner.

Thor opened a Portal and brought Ulik to New York City and the pair were reunited.

Klöpp was not seen again so it can be assumed he learned his lesson and didn't wander off into unknown portals ever again.

Creation

Klöpp was created by Dan Slott and Ty Templeton for their back-up story in Spider-Boy #3.
