Major Story Arcs

Krakkan was an ancient sorcerer-king worshipped on Earth as a god. He made pacts with many sorcerers, granting them various magical powers. The Chains of Krakkan was at least one spell that invoked his power.

Krakkan vyed with other powerful mystical beings for dominance. He joined a group known as the Octessence as part of a wager to see who the mightiest was. To participate in this wager, he created a relic, the Kestrel Key of Krakkan, allowing any who wielded it to use his powers as the exemplar Conquest .

The Death of Doctor Strange

Krakkan was later defeated in battle by the monster hunter Ulysses Bloodstone, who sealed him away in another realm. However, Krakkan was unbound by the magical chaos caused by the death of Stephen Strange, Earth's Sorcerer Supreme.

Krakkan returned to Earth to seek revenge againsy Ulysses Bloodstone. Ulysses had long since died, but Krakkan found instead his children, Elsa, Cullen, and Lyra. Krakkan decided to slay the Bloodstone children as an act of proxy vengeance, but the Bloodstones fought back, destroying his minions and ultimately killing him with the powers of Lya's Nullgem.
