"Laird" Jamie was employed by Obadiah Stane to disguise himself as a Scottish lord and win the trust of Tony Stark before attempting to kill him. Whilst Stark is out of the Laird's castle, Jamie took Jim Rhodes and Indries Moomji hostage, forcing Iron Man to run a gauntlet of traps to save them. However, Iron Man managed to save his friends and defeated Laird Jamie.
