Origin

Leroy Tallon was a Master Safe-Cracker and gang leader who lost his hands in a Nitro Blast of his own creation. His doctor replaced his hands with stainless steel hands giving him super strength. He then returned to crime.

Creation

Leroy Tallon was created by Len Wein and Sal Buscema. He first appeared in The Amazing Spider-man #155

Major Story Arcs

Leroy Tallon was one of three possible suspects that the computer W.H.O identified as the possible murderer of W.H.O co-creator Dr Armstrong Smith. Spider-man tracked Leroy to his hideout and the two fought after Leroy admitted to committing a crime at the time of the murder. After a brief fight, Spider-man discovered that Leroy had killed Dr Smith but instead had robbed a Diamond Exchange at the time of the murder. Spider-man then webbed Leroy up for the police to arrest.
