Origin
Not much is known about Major X except that he is the alternate-reality son of Nathan Dayspring Summers, better known as Cable.
Creation
Major X was created by Rob Liefield and first appeared in his self-named mini-series Major X issue 1 (2019). Some controversie exsists because another artist included Major X in an almost non-visible cameo in the pages of Spider-Man/Deadpool issue 47 before Major X issue 1 went on sale. Creator Rob Liefield was very angry with this and stated that Major X issue 1 is in fact the first appearance of the character. That, or, his variant cover for Deadpool issue 11 (2019), which came out one week before Spider-Man/Deadpool issue 47. Rob Liefield states he would never sign a copy of Spider-Man/Deadpool 47.
