Martine was Michael Morbius' lover & fiancee all the way up to her death by a gunshot after stumbling upon a secret that was intended to kill Morbius instead of curing his vampirism. After being guilt-ridden after her death, Morbius revives her using a page from the Darkhold. Upon her resurrection, Martine was not herself and aligned herself with Lilith against Morbius.
