Toru Tarakoto wanted to cleanse Japan of Americans so badly he even joined Communist China to help him. They helped him by building some armor and a gigantic robotic dragon called Zoga to aid him in attaining his goals. He encountered Iron Man and fought him. During their battle Monster Master, (which he now called himself) was hit by his own energy beam that was reflected back at him and crashed to the ground, he confessed to wanting to rule Japan before dying due to his injuries after the crash.
Creation
The Monster Master was created by Allyn Brodsky and Don Heck in 1970 and first appeared in Iron Man #30.
